The NEBAALAS Boston Regional Technician Training (BRTT) is geared toward technicians in the Lab Animal Industry who are seeking educational and networking opportunities. This educational platform brings together both local and nationwide speakers who are highly knowledgeable and experienced in their area of interest. A variety of topics from Aquatics to Pain Identification that are chosen based on their relevance to the everyday work of technicians.
Three tracks of sessions are in line with AALAS certification levels in order to satisfy educational needs of entry level through seasoned technicians. The program is designed to provide education on best practices, networking over lunch, enriched skill sets, review of products with vendors, and to inspire/motivate each other in this field. In summary, this biannual training is a valuable resource for any technician in the New England area.
