THE CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2023 OFFICERS
The Call for Nominations is now open and we are seeking candidates for the open positions of Vice President, Vice President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.
Service on the Board of Directors in an officer position is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of NEBAALAS. The opportunity to work with Branch leadership allows you to be part of the decision-making process, driving the strategic goals of the organization. This is an exciting time to join the leadership of NEBAALAS and help us to continue to map a positive future for the Laboratory Animal Research Community.
Serving on the NEBAALAS Board gives you the ability to grow personally and professionally, to expand on skills, gain unique experience and make long-lasting connections with a team of other passionate and motivated professionals. Board service also provides the following unique opportunities:
- Develop valuable skills in non-profit governance, program planning and strategic planning
- Expand your network of professional contacts
Candidates must meet a professional standard of excellence by
demonstrating the following:
- Hold active membership in NEBAALAS
- Be willing to accept a leadership role for the full term
- Have time to dedicate to fulfilling responsibilities on the Board
Take the lead by nominating a colleague or yourself for the positions of Vice President, Vice President Elect, Treasurer or Secretary. The Call for Nominations closes on FRIDAY, JUNE 9, 2023 and the election closes JULY 21, 2023.
New board members take office at the end of the Installation Dinner & Awards in September 2023.
